My BA is from Ohio University (Athens, OH), while I hold an MA and Ph.D from the University of Cincinnati in Classics, with a specialization in Ancient History. During my dissertation work, I was the Bert Hodge Hill Fellow at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (Greece) from 2011-2012. After I completed my Ph.D, I worked as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Cincinnati and at Xavier University. In July, 2015, I came to the sunny shores of Melbourne to join the Centre for Ancient Cultures at Monash University.
In 2011 and 2014, I worked as a visiting researcher at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, and have worked with papyri from the collections at the Center for the Tebtunis Papyri (Berkeley), University of Michigan, Beinecke Library (Yale), and the Austrian National Library.
