Anita Harris is an Adjunct Research Professor. She is based at the Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation at Deakin University, where she is a Research Professor: see http://www.deakin.edu.au/profiles/anita-harris. She is completing an ARC Future Fellowship entitled ‘Young People and Social Inclusion in the Multicultural City’ and an ARC Discovery Project on ‘The Civic Life of Young Australian Muslims: Active Citizenship, Community Belonging and Social Inclusion’.
Anita was based at Monash from 2011-2015 after undertaking a Mid-Career Research Fellowship at the University of Queensland, where she was also Deputy Director of the Centre for Critical and Cultural Studies.

Anita is an executive member and Associate Editor for The Journal of Youth Studies and an international editorial advisory board member for the Journal of Intercultural Studies, The Journal of Girlhood Studies and Youth Studies Australia.
