Caroline Trousseau has been teaching French and translation at Monash University since 2008.
Caroline is a qualified language teacher and professional NAATI accredited translator (English into French). She specialises in marketing and audiovisual translation. In recent years, she has subtitled a number of documentaries and TV series. As a fully TRADOS certified translator, Caroline also regularly teaches translation and technology modules.
In 2013, Caroline started a PhD in Translation Studies. Her research focuses on the transfer/translation of indigeneity into French. She is translating a young adult book dealing with Aboriginal Australia in the 1940’s.
