I have also supervised two MA students (Ellie Brown: Apollo and Bloodguilt: Initiation Patterns in the Oresteia, 2009 and Jon Ratcliffe, The Wolf-Motif in the Foundation Myths of the Romans and the Mongols, 2013).

I currently supervise 2 PhD students (Catherine McLardy: Women’s Associations in the Hellenistic Period) and (Aimee Turner, The Reception of Livia and Roman Female Mores in the Middle Ages). I am associate supervisor for Tegan Trueman (The Concept of Afterlife in the Book of Enoch) and for Jennifer Ellis (Veiling in the Hebrew Bible in relation to broader Ancient Near Eastern practices). I also supervise one Honours student (David Nicholson, Plato’s Tyrant in Latin Silver Epic).

2014: Leeper Prize Award for Tom Sharkie. The Classical Association of Victoria awards for best Honours thesis in Classical Studies in Victoria in 2013.

2012: Leeper Prize Award for Melissa Saligari. The Classical Association of Victoria awards for best Honours thesis in Classical Studies in Victoria in 2011.

2010: Leeper Prize Award for Catherine McLardy. The Classical Association of Victoria awards for best Honours thesis in Classical Studies in Victoria in 2009.

2010: Hugh Niall received double commendation for his translation at the annual Australasian Society for Classical Studies Unseen Competitions for Greek and Latin.

2010: Greg Thomas- Golfo Theofanis Award for Excellence in Ancient Greek.

2010: Anne-Marie Kirmos- Golfo Theofanis Award for Excellence in Modern Greek.

2010: 4 awards to students of Modern Greek from the Greek Australian Cultural League.

2010: 2 groups of students of Modern Greek received second and third Award in the Melbourne Greek Film Festival.

2009: Leeper Prize Award for Ellie Mackin. The Classical Association of Victoria awards for best Honours thesis in Classical Studies in Victoria in 2008.

2008: Hugh Niall received first prize at the annual Australasian Society of Classical Studies Unseen Latin Translation Competition.

2008: Leigh McKinnon: Commendation for the competition outlined above.
