Dr Kate Cregan

Graduate Researchers in Print (GRiP) Co-ordinator

I am a Senior Lecturer in the Arts Graduate Research School of Monash University. Since returning to Monash in 2007, I have developed and delivered undergraduate teaching within sociology; for two years (2009-2010) I co-ordinated and taught social-contextual ethics to medical students in years 1-4 of the Monash MBBS; and since 2009 I have led the research-training and professional-development of HDR candidates from across the Faculty of Arts through the Graduate Researchers in Print (GRiP) programs in publications, thesis writing and ethics application writing. In recognition of the contribution of these programs I was awarded the 2013 Faculty of Arts Award for Programs that Enhance Learning (Postgraduate Education) and the 2014 Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Programs that Enhance Learning.
