Masato Takimoto lectures in the Japanese Studies Program, as well as in the Translation & Interpreting Studies Program. His research interests include intercultural communication, intercultural language learning and teaching, and interpreting and translation pedagogy. He is a NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) accredited Conference Interpreter/Advanced Professional Translator.
