Dr Melinda Harvey

    I joined Monash in 2011, having held lectureships at the University of Sydney, ANU, RMIT University and the European College of Liberal Arts, Berlin (now Bard College, Berlin).

    This year I’m coordinating the courses ATS3495 Victorian to Modern and ATS3502 Postmodern and Contemporary English Literature and teaching into ATS3063 The Writing Self: Creative Non-Fiction and ATS3421 Literature and Modernism.

    I am Director of the Centre for the Book at Monash. I am also on the Executive Committee of the Australian Modernist Studies Network and the Editorial Board of the journal, Katherine Mansfield Studies.

    I write as a professional book critic, regularly reviewing new books for numerous Australian newspapers and magazines. You can read some of my reviews here.
