I joined Monash in 2011, having held lectureships at the University of Sydney, ANU, RMIT University and the European College of Liberal Arts, Berlin.
This year I’m coordinating the courses ATS3495 Victorian to Modern, ATS3502 Postmodern and Contemporary English Literature and teaching into ATS3091 Digital Literatures and ATS1904 Reading the City. I will also be leading a seminar in APG6724 Literary and Cultural Theory: An Overview.
I am on the Executive Committee of the Australian Modernist Studies Network and the Editorial Board of the journal, Katherine Mansfield Studies.
I write as a professional book critic, regularly reviewing new books for numerous Australian newspapers and magazines. You can read some of my reviews here.
This year I am an Ambassador for the Emerging Writers’ Festival and one of the judges of the Monash University Undergraduate Prize for Creative Writing.
