Nick Dyrenfurth is the author or editor of several books on Australian labour and political history as well as having published widely in leading academic journals such as Labour History, Australian Journal of Politics and History and Australian Journal of Political Science. In 2009 he won the Gollan Prize for Australian labour history. He is presently writing a book on the ideal of ‘mateship’ in Australian history.
