SSHM research featured on Life Matters, Radio National – 19 September 2014

The Emotional Experiences of Early Parenthood in Australian Families project was featured on Life Matters (Radio National) on Friday 19 September 2014, as part of a talkback discussion called “So, you’re going to be a dad”.

Project Research Associate Kate Johnston-Ataata was one of four guests on the program, which revolved around the re-publication of a book by the same title by Sydney father Peter Downey and explored the rewards and challenges of becoming a father today.

Kate was able to share some of the experiences of the diverse group of nine fathers interviewed in our research project, and alert listeners to the forthcoming launch of our website.

For information about the show (and a podcast in due course) please visit the Life Matters website or Facebook page.
