    Literary Translation; Translators in Fiction; Transnational and Translingual Narratives; Self-Translation; Translation and Migration; Translation and Interpreting Training, the reception of Australian literature in translation.
  • Contemporary Italian Literature and Culture
    Avant-garde poetry; postmodern fiction, including the writings of Italo Calvino and Antonio Tabucchi; women writers of the 1980s and 1990s, literature of migration in the 21st century.
  • European Studies
    Current research examines how changing use of border spaces in contemporary narrative constructs or records new or unrecognized areas of spatial identification and mobility and, in so doing, provides space for an/other vision of European identity.
