I have degrees from the University of Melbourne and Monash University. I completed my PhD at Monash in 1999 and have been a member of academic staff in the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies since then. My main teaching is in contemporary history, especially the history of cities and city cultures. I teach units on contemporary global history, urban history and British history. I also teach into the International Studies program.
